(rondeloid - culture horákov - Halštat)


This rondeloid is located in the district of Brno-countryside (region south Moravia) 1 km to the north from the city center, Kuřim on the site called "Under the Toskou". 1995 here conducted the research Institute of archaeological monument care in Brno. Was explored the area of almost 2 hectares. It was discovered hallstatt settlement and it can be assumed, that continues in all directions. Further, it was found halštatský areola. To the complex belongs also rondeloid. The whole area is bounded by and defined by a system of palisades.This is an oval area measuring 22x17 m defined palisade and of the two inputs, with a central stake, which is located on the kouřimském halštatském estate. His orientation inputs is NNE-SSW, one of them is simple, the second is the pincer. In klešťovitého entry is found lowered the object with the inventory horákovské culture. Can be interpreted as a cult object. Leaving aside the rondel from Čakovice, is the only indirect dating analogy kuřimskému object rondeloid in Křižanovicích.
