Il-28R 1915
On 22.05.1969 there was an air disaster, the Il-28R 1915 during night flying. Of the crew (pilot capt. Karel Holec, bn kpt. František Kolařík, shooter – radio operator pprap. Francis Watch) no one survived. The aircraft after returning from a flight conducted klesavou turn over "dálnou" pardubice airport and two minutes it crashed 2 miles NW from the airport to the country. The cause of the disaster was never determined.
