Javornik

The village of Javorník it is first mentioned in the year 1354, its first documented owner, the Transient of the Javorníka, in written sources appears more than a half-century after the year 1416. It seems likely that already at that time, there could become a fortress. But for the first time we have doloženu of the year 1528, where it together with the other goods sold Václav from Javorníka Martin Radíkovskému of the Castle. Then her owner became Adam Zilvár of Pilníkova, he then obtained the property joined the Břecštejnu and it can be assumed that the zapačalo decay of the fortress, since he probably became unnecessary.
Tvrziště, which is located at the junction of highway no. 14 and the road leading north towards the village of Javornik. Is broken quite significant. The core of the oval shape, which is high for approximately 3 to 4 m, measured in its longest, to the west of the elongated section of about 10 m. surrounded by a remnant of the water ditch, which is best preserved in the western and northern parts. Of the fortress have been preserved, except under the ground found the remains of broken-arched cellar. In him is located the entrance on the south side and leads further north, where is located a small angled window.
