the Church of st. Lawrence

Originally romanesque church, rebuilt in the gothic style. 1784 abolished and rebuilt on a residential (family) house. Now used occasionally as a concert hall.

the Church of st. Procopius (rebuilt to a dwelling house)

Originally a church built in 1. half of the 13. century in the romanesque style. Before the year 1689, and thereafter in years 1689-1693 (according to the project of Antonín Jan Lurago) radically rebuilt in baroque style. After the abolition of the church was rebuilt in 1782 on a residential house. In 1873 he got his final form, when he was added 3. floor and the facade has changed. Above the entrance to the building there is a niche with a statue of st. Prokop from the year 1811.

Maltézské náměstí

On an irregular Maltese square is located the building of 3 palaces: Nostický (Ministry of culture of the CZECH republic), Rohan (MINISTRY of education - one of the settlements) and Turbů (the Japanese embassy). The square is placed the statue of st. John the Baptist with the angels. There is also a number of historic buildings..
