the Church of st. Lawrence
The first written mention of the then a romanesque church from the year 1183, is at the same time the first written mention of Dačice. 14. century the church was rebuilt in gothic style. In the years 1586-1592 there was built a 51 m high square of the renaissance city tower with gallery, is the work of Italian master Francesco Garofa de Bissona. However, the church subsequently lacked the necessary care, so he got the temple into disrepair. In 18. the century was demolished and replaced by a baroque church, issued in the years 1775-1788 dačickým builder Michael Kirchmayerem. It has a ground plan of a Latin cross.
