The aircraft served among others with the 7th Fighter Aviation Regiment Piešt'any - (3rd operational group/3rd squadron.
(Until the unit was disbanded in the summer of 1967)


DD.MM.1967-DD.09.1969 11th Fighter Aviation Regiment - 4th Operations Group / 4th Squadron.


There it was in status until September 1969, when all MiG-17PFs were retired.
