a Monument to the aviators

The monument of airmen is located about 1 km on west from the centre of the village of Slatinice, when the yellow-marked tourist path to the nature reserve velký Kosíř. Part of the memorial is also part of the helicopter, a piece of sheet metal from the cab with a sign in the form of the Czech lion. On 10. November 1998 VS ACR lost helicopter Mil Mi-24V 0928 of state 331. squadron. In a tragic accident, the entire crew was killed in the composition of the deputy commander of the 331.the squadron mjr. ing. Ladislav Lame, ZV lt. mjr. ing. Paul Hurčík, commander of the 3. swarms of lieutenant. ing. Marek Józsa and on-board engineer natm. Peter Brick Maker. The crew was already only about 7 minutes of flight from its home base at the airport in Přerověwhere was returning from an air show at the irish 230. the squadron in Aldegrode, however, reported problems with the management (discontinuation of the artificial horizon), whereupon the machine crashed at high speed. At least two members of the crew tried to rescue pádakem, but that they failed to
In slatinickém the museum is also the case with a model helicopter in which the crew died.
