Na jaře r.1944 vysazen na Slovensku jako člen výsadku Lida-Sidonia, ale při seskoku byl raněn a zajat, následně vězněn do května 1945.
V 50.letech propuštěn z armády a uvězněn.
Rehabilitován a přijat zpět do armády.
