Looks like the Kremlin has decided it's best if the 64th Independent Guards Motorized Artillery Brigade is destroyed in combat... if they die, they can't be tried for their msakry in Bucha

Igor Girkin, a Russian intelligence operative who was one of the main figures organizing the 2014 unrest in Donbas, is still not happy about developments on the front, or rather, he is increasingly negative

Traditional Kremlin mouthpieces weigh in on the secret documents found at Trump's Mar-a-Lago. Whether the Kremlin has seen them or is just trolling cannot be confirmed or denied at this time. However, it is somewhat frightening that he was carrying a number of classified documents in a poorly secured environment. Some of the documents were even Top Secret and some of them in Sensitive Compartmented Information mode. It is somewhat sad for the security of classified documents in the USA that Trump won the election also because Hillary Clinton was suspected of keeping classified information at home, even on a server that had apparently been hacked. Now it turns out he didn't treat the material any better...

In Russia, Igor Girkin, also known as Strelkov, was reportedly detained by border guards under a fake passport under the name Runov. He is a (former) FSB officer who was one of the main and perhaps most notorious architects of the 2014 Donbass riots, committing many crimes in the process. He was one of the few survivors of the subsequent purges. Recently, he has been posting analyses of the military situation in Ukraine on social media. He has been highly critical of the military leadership. Minister Shoigu has not been spared criticism. While a number of other people were imprisoned for self-criticism, he wrote one critical post after another. Apparently, he was covered by the FSB, or even wrote it with its blessing. It's hard to say. So far, the last post has been uncharitably critical of Russia's political leadership. Anyway, today there was information about his detention in Crimea while trying to get to the front. The information is not yet clear, and given his resume, we may yet see many surprises. The detention has been confirmed by some officials of the puppet republics, along with the addendum that it is not right to prevent him from fighting for his country.

The command of Russian forces in the area of the right bank of the Dnieper is said to have moved to the left bank. It is questionable whether this is true. If so, whether this is just a move to a better location or a sign of retreat. Either way, it's unlikely to have the most positive effect on the morale of the troops on the right bank, where they are cut off from continuous supply after the attacks on the bridges (the ferries will not have the capacity to replace the two road and two rail routes across the bridges/dam)...
