The Russians hit a shopping mall in Kremenchuk, at a time when President Zelensky said more than 1,000 people were there. The death toll is said to be "unimaginable." So apparently this could be one of the largest, if not the largest, Russian massacre of Ukrainians to date. So far 2 (already 10) have been confirmed dead and dozens (already four) injured, 9 of whom are in critical condition. Firefighters are trying to contain the fire, however it is quite intense over about 10,000 m2 of area.
President Zelensky reports on the attack and further appeals to people to seek shelter in case of alarm.
Evening footage. So far 16 are known dead and 59 injured of which 25 are hospitalized, some of them in serious condition. Most people appear to have managed to escape, however some people are believed to still be missing and there is a question as to how many possible victims may be in the rubble of the shopping centre.

For the first time, Ukraine officially acknowledged the deployment of special forces outside its territory, i.e. on the territory of Russia. This is the deployment of (at least) the 10th special forces unit called the "Shaman Battalion." It has been behind unspecified attacks or sabotage of ammunition and fuel depots in particular. However, the destruction or damage of other targets cannot be ruled out.
