In the Kherson area, two launchers and a Kamaz box vehicle, believed to belong to the S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex, were destroyed.

The Ukrainians managed a good hit, which is nota bene even more interesting for its curiosity. At about 2 p.m. they hit a T-72 tank with a bomb dropped from a drone, which would not be so interesting if there were not 15 Russian soldiers watching an unspecified film on its turret. The ensuing explosion thus not only completely destroyed the tank, but made those 15 spectators "two hundred." The Ukrainian side later released both footage of the destruction of this machine and footage of a conversation between one of the soldiers and his mother. The soldier describes the whole situation and how they had to pick up what was left of his fellow soldiers.

jakási Gaučová úderná brigáda (Диванно-штурмовая бригада) zveřejnila bez bližší informace fotografii samohybného děla 2S7M Malka s pahýlem hlavně. Takže jsou na snadě dvě možnosti proč k tomu došlo:
- chybné střelivo,
- nebo hrubé zanedbání laufové hygieny.

Prý se to teď sovětské/ruské technice občas stává. Důvody jsou různé. Vadné střelivo (hodně staré, špatné uskladnění, žádná průběžná kontrola), špína zanesená do laufu z toho, jak to leží na zemi v hlíně a bez očištění to ládují do laufu (týká se spíše tažených děl než samohybek), nepřesně udělané vývrty (jedna strana je tlustší než druhá a ta slabší se rychleji zahřeje, dělo se nejdříve začně ohýbat a pak už to nevydrží a rozkvete). Když se k tomu přidá skutečnost, že na exponovaných místech fronty postupovali ruské/loutkové/soukromé jednotky vpřed jen díky dělostřelecké převaze, a byl tedy enormní tlak na kontinuální vedení palby, zřejmě se překračovaly přípustné hodnoty pro počet vypálených ran. A problém je, že náhradní laufy jsou tak říkajíc úzkoprofilové zboží, tj. nedostává se jich. Navíc laufy západních děl jsou v zásadě identické, zatímco sovětská výroba je víceméně co kus to originál, takže ne vždy jde jeden lauf snadno vyměnit za jiný. Prý se také stává, že na frontu dorazí ze skladů vytažená technika, která plně nefunguje, protože to nikdo pořádně neudržoval a po vytažení pořádně nezkontroloval. Takže na frontu jsou přiváženy třeba i kusy, kde nejde otočit věží. Ty pak slouží jen jako zdroj pro kanbalizaci dílů.


BTW: ten nedostatek náhradních dílů a nedostatek kapacity pro servisování začne být stále větší problém. Třeba tankové motory potřebují po určitém počtu motohodin servis vyšší úrovně (ne v poli, ideálně v továrně). Mnoha kusům techniky se blíží čas k nutné opravě, nebo budou stále více selhávat. Někteří Rusové, kteří trochu hledí na jinak dosti opomíjenou logistiku, z toho mají docela vítr. Ruské továrny nejspíš nebudou schopny provádět opravy v dostatečném množství.
