Yesterday, a video resonated on social media showing a Russian soldier (apparently identified on the basis of previously published videos as Buryat or Kalmyk) castrating a captured Ukrainian soldier with a knife, who is conscious during this torture. The authenticity has not yet been confirmed, but it seems to me that it is more or less taken as probably real on both sides. I'm not going to share the video, that's for everyone to find for themselves if anyone wants to judge authenticity. I'm just attaching a link to an article with a selection of reactions from widely followed Russian military bloggers to this war crime (that in itself is disgusting enough...) and

According to some reports, the township Vysokopillja is exempt. If this is true, then the question is whether the encirclement of the Russian occupiers has been completed or they have managed to withdraw to the south. Probably the latter. The town of Archanhelske is also almost surrounded.

The North Macedonian army has decided to hand over all its tanks to Ukraine. In total, 31 T-72A. The video shows the removal of the first eight flooded tanks.
Origin of the tanks:
In 2000, the Macedonian army received these tanks from the Russian Federation and used them in the fight against Albanian separatists.

Officials from Russia and the puppet Donetsk republic accuse Ukrainian forces of striking a block of houses in occupied Olenivka. The building was believed to house prisoners, mainly from Mariupol, including members of part of the Azov regiment.


The Ukrainian army denies the strike and accuses Russia of covering up war crimes (torture of prisoners).


So far, it is probably impossible to say who led the strike. Somewhat strangely, the Mariupol prisoners would have been housed relatively close to the front (they are not newly captured soldiers, but soldiers who have been in captivity since the fall of Mariupol). Moreover, the incident follows one day after a leaked video of a Russian soldier committing a war crime (castration of a Ukrainian prisoner).



Mariupol is down by the sea, Olenivka is north of Dokuchaevsk (as is the lowest bomb icon). Meanwhile, in the area between Vuhledar and Volodymyrovka, the Ukrainian army is advancing and slowly liberating the occupied territories.



The founder of the former battalion sees the action as a Russian effort to cover up evidence of torture and promises revenge against the perpetrators.
