Hail Ukraine! The twenty-fourth day of the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.


The Russian Federation continues to ignore international humanitarian law, strikes and fires not only on the positions of our troops, but also on the civilian infrastructure of populated areas, terrorizing civilians.
Over the past day, the enemy has launched 3 rocket attacks, 30 air strikes and 50 attacks from rocket salvo systems.


The probability of further rocket and air attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.


The main efforts of the enemy are focused on conducting offensive operations in the directions of Bakhmut, Avdiiv, Marin and Shakhtar - 53 enemy attacks were repelled. The town of Bakhmut remains at the epicentre of hostilities.


The operational situation on the Volyn and Poliske directions has not changed significantly. Some units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine. Some units of the territorial units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to be located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.


In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy continues to hold a number of its units in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions[/url] bordering Ukraine. Over the past day, shelling has targeted the settlements of Leonivka and Hremyach in the Chernihiv area; Shalygine, Volfine and Kindrativka- Sumy, as well as Hoptivka and Vovchanskiy Chutory in the Kharkiv Oblast.

In the direction of Lymansky the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bilogorivka. The Stelmachivka, Makijivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilogorivka of Luhansk Oblast and Ivanivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne and Zvanivka from Donetsk oblast were hit by artillery fire.


Fierce fighting for the town of Bakhmut continues towards Bakhmut. In the vicinity of Hryhorivka and Bohdanivka the enemy led unsuccessful offensive actions. Rozdolivka, Vasjukivka, Orichovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Bila Hora, Dylijivka, Zalizne, Pivnichne, Pivdenne and Nyu-York from the Donetsk region were hit by enemy shelling.


On the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the areas of Novokalynove, Stepove, Pervomaiskaya and Nevelske, without success. He shelled the settlements of Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdijivka, Tonenke, Pervomajske, Nevelske from Donetsk oblast and many others.


In the direction of Maryinka, enemy attacks were repelled in the area of Maryinka during the past day. Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda and Novomykhaylivka of Donetsk oblast again came under enemy fire.


In the direction of Shakhtarske from the previous day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Vuhledar area. It also shelled Prechystivka, Novoukrajinka, Zolota Niva and Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region.


The enemy continues defensive operations in the direction of Zaporozhye and Kherson. During the past day, he has been undertaking mortar and artillery attacks on populated areas. Among
among them - Olhivske, Pavlivka, Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Hulyaipilske, Orichiv, Novodanilivka and Novoandriivka in Zaporizhzhya region, as well as Antonivka in Kherson region and the city of Kherson.


The enemy continued to suffer losses. On 17 April this year, the enemy attempted to carry out a medical evacuation from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region towards the settlement of Urazovo in Belgorod region. 14 trucks were used to transport the wounded occupiers. When attempting to cross the state border of Ukraine into the territory of the Russian Federation, for some reasons the Russian side did not let the military convoy pass and turned it back. It is known that during the aforementioned transfer some of the enemy soldiers did not survive due to insufficient medical care. Another part of the seriously wounded attackers, more than 50 people, were transferred to the hospital stationed on the basis of the Troy Central District Hospital.


In the last 24 hours, the air forces of the Defence Forces carried out 5 strikes on the concentration areas of the invaders, and the units of rocket troops and artillery hit 2 areas of concentration of live forces, an anti-aircraft missile complex and 2. more important military objects of the enemy.
