49th Independent Artillery Brigade and its TRLG-230 missiles from Turkish Roketsan

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed with a Turkish MBRL multi-barrel rocket launcher, as evidenced by photos released by 49th Independent Artillery Brigade (49 OАБр, в/ч А0157).
The MBRL rocket launcher can fire:
- 122 mm TR-122 and TRB-122 unguided missiles, range up to 36-40 km, 18.4 kg warhead,
- 122 mm high-precision TRG-122 and TRLG-122 missiles with semi-active laser guidance, range up to 30 km, 13.5 kg warhead,
- 230mm TRG-230 and TRLG-230 high precision semi-active laser-guided missiles, range up to 70 km, 42 kg warhead,
- 300mm TRG-300 high-precision missiles, range up to 90 (Block-II) or 120 km (Block-III), 180 kg warhead or 105 kg warhead,
- 600mm satellite-guided Khan ballistic missiles, range 280 km, 470 kg warhead.

In Belgorod, locals are posting photos and videos of a huge crater at a crossroads in the center of town. There is currently no information available from officials about the reasons for the crater, but a few minutes earlier Belgorod media published a report that "there are loud flights over Belgorod in the direction of Kharkiv."

Serhiy Pataki lived with his wife and two children in Vynohradiv (Nagyszőlős), after mobilization he joined the Ukrainian army.
Vicseszlav Kusz, a representative of the Nagyszőlős municipality, told the media that the Russians took Szerhij's phone and recorded what they did to him for all to see. Before enlisting, Pataki worked at the market and sold vegetables and fruit.
Pataki died in March and a since-deleted recording of his execution first appeared on Twitter on April 11, 2023. The next day, the Ukrainian military also confirmed that the victim was a soldier captured by Russia. It has since been speculated that the perpetrators may have been members of Wagner's group.
The video has sparked huge outrage in Ukraine and in allied countries. Some people have compared the beheading to crimes committed by the Islamic State (IS) terrorist organisation, adding that Russian occupying forces had already committed countless war crimes against civilians and prisoners of war during the invasion of Ukraine.

So it looks like they bombed Belgorod themselves

The Ukrainian 59th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade repelled a Russian attack consisting of two BMPs. Only one of them survived, while the other was knocked out by the PTRS.



The identity of the Russian lieutenant colonel on whose orders more than 200 people were detained and tortured in Balakliya has been established. The military commander of the Ukrainian town of Balakliya during the occupation by the Russian army was 46-year-old Valery Buslov, a lieutenant colonel of the military police of the Russian Ministry of Defence.

There are 46 F/A-18A aircraft idling in Australia, at risk of being transferred to the private sector or scrapped. These aircraft were upgraded to F/A-18C level in 2002. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is reportedly looking for a way to acquire these machines.

""On April 20, 2023, at around 22:15 Moscow time (21:15 CEST), an abnormal descent of aerial munitions occurred during the overflight of Su-34 air force aircraft over the city of Belgorod," the Defense Ministry said. It did not specify which munitions were involved. The statement said residential buildings were damaged as a result of the incident, but there were no casualties. The matter is being investigated by the relevant authorities."


"The governor of Russia's Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said the explosion left two women injured and damage to the streets, including a 20-metre crater."

Donetsk region, a Ukrainian drone from the 501st Independent Marine Battalion dropped a grenade on a roadside anti-tank mine cache.



A Ukrainian AN/TPQ-37 Firefinder anti-artillery radar was destroyed by a Russian Lancet munition roaming in the Donetsk region. This is the first confirmed loss of this type of radar.



Residents of Kiev last night observed a strange, unusual, bright flash in the sky. The flash was observed even from the territory of Belarus. One of the most common versions is that it was a fall of some kind of space object to Earth: a meteor, a satellite, space debris. (Note: It was a bolide; the demise of the RHESSI satellite did not occur until about five and a half hours later at 2:21 a.m. CEST over the northeastern regions of Africa, roughly in the locations of Egypt, Libya, Chad, and Sudan.)

Vzdušně kosmické síly Ruské federace přišly o vrtulník Mil Mi-24VM (Mi-35M), který se za nevyjasněných okolností zřítil do vod Azovského moře u Kyrylivky v Melitopolském rajónu, Zaporižská oblast. Oba členové posádky zahynuli. Jedním z nich byl major Andrej Sergejevič Suetov.
