In my recent thread I discussed the new "PMC" and promised to provide more information when possible.
This group is known as the "Wolves" and is involved in assault, reconnaissance, and sabotage missions. Their story is more complex, however:
Instead of becoming known for their efficiency, the Wolves have become the center of scandal. Hundreds of soldiers mobilized by the Defense Department last year unexpectedly found themselves members of PMCs they hadn't known about before.
In a video released by the "Astra" telegram channel, disgruntled soldiers from military bases 11048 and 61899 claim they were misled into moving from the "Postojalje Dvory" training ground (51°46'53.13 "N 36°24'41.72 "E) in Kursk Oblast to the city of Rostov. Upon arrival, they were taken away their identity cards.

According to the soldiers' claims, they ended up in an unknown location in Luhansk, so they do not know about their current whereabouts or the names of their direct and indirect commanders. Some groups are under pressure to sign a contract with PMC Wolves.
Satellite imagery of the "Postojalje Dvory" training ground (coordinates according to photo 51°46'30.21 "N 36°28'56.81 "E), where the soldiers were originally based, confirms that there may be hundreds of people in the camp at any one time, and it appears to be in use.

A Telegram channel associated with Wagner claims that mobilized soldiers have voluntarily joined the PMC and are currently serving under Wagner's command. This claim is false because most soldiers refuse to sign contracts with the PMC.

I recently realized that recovering soldiers in hospitals are sometimes transferred to PMCs or even assault units instead of returning to their original units. I am not sure how widespread this trend is, but it seems to be increasing.
The "Wolves" seem to be trained by experienced Wagner instructors who have recently returned from the front lines. In addition, some of the training of these soldiers appears to be taking place at Wagner facilities
Last week, a "core" unit of Wolves, presumably composed of more experienced Wagner soldiers, took part in operations around Bakhmut and suffered losses. The Wolves have a company-sized force, which will soon be reinforced by the mobilized soldiers we have already discussed.
The purpose of creating a new "subsidiary" PMC, remains unclear. It appears that the "Wolves" may function as a cover unit for Wagner, composed of MoD soldiers who were transferred without their knowledge, but this is still speculation.

Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces received amazing gifts for Easter from the United Russia political party. In the parcels with humanitarian rations were found icons depicting the "face" of Vladimir Putin. Corresponding photos of the stylized image of the President of the Russian Federation with a nimbus around his head and videos were published by the "Perm 36.6" telegram channel.
In the box, in addition to a bottle of vodka, cans of canned food and other products, there was also an icon with an image of Putin in a cellophane bag. On the packaging was the inscription "For prayers".

A Russian infantry fighting vehicle BMP-1 was destroyed by an RGT-27S2 thermobaric grenade dropped into an open hatch from a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle near Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.



A Ukrainian ship was destroyed by Russian Lancet munitions that were roaming on the Dnipro River in Zaporozhye. The ship appears to be an upgraded Project 376 Yaroslavets - similar ones, for example, have been seen in use by the Ukrainian River Fleet before.




Photo of Russian tank T-72B3 fig. 2016 from Russian source. The tank was hit by a Javelin anti-tank complex. The Javelin pierced the brick of the Kontak-5 dynamic protection, the cumulative beam penetrated the turret, but hit the cannon breech. The crew survived.
The Kontakt-5's explosive reactive armor appears to have been able to disperse the beam, but did not stop it. If the beam had hit the ammunition in the tank, it could have led to catastrophic destruction.

Russian soldiers hide under a burning BMP-1.



Russian leader Vladimir Putin visited the headquarters of Russian forces fighting in Ukraine. A video released by the Kremlin on Tuesday morning shows Putin visiting the command post of Russian forces "Dnieper" in Kherson Oblast in southern Ukraine.
The footage showed Putin receiving messages from top military officials. Putin then moved by helicopter to the "Vostok" command post of the National Guard of the Russian Federation in Luhansk Oblast to hear reports on the situation there. The veracity of the footage released by the Kremlin could not be independently verified.

Introducing the icon during his alleged visit to the occupied Ukrainian territories, Putin said: "Easter is coming" - implying that the trip had taken place earlier.
The Kremlin was trying to prove that he visited her yesterday. Peskov even made a statement that it was Easter week.

On 27 February 2022, Canada confiscated an An-124 Ruslan transport aircraft owned by the Russian firm Volga-Dnepr. Another 3 Ruslans are grounded at Leipzig airport. Now Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal is negotiating with Canada and the German government to take over these planes.
